And also for use in regional tourism brochures is the quality OK, as most require no more than A5 size print. The operation of the LX-3 is not bad, but some things I was always a little irritated, so the silver directional buttons, the caption (engraving) is readable little, or the unfortunate lens cap, must take down the one before the Camera turns on (or just keep the camera in a case to protect without the lens). Another positive aspect is that the P700 can be induced in contrast to the Lumix with an infrared triggers such as the ML-L3 immediately with 2 or 10 sec delay. Ideal if you want to be in group pictures with it. Of course, the Coolpix slightly larger and heavier (350 grams with battery and memory card to 270 gr for the Lumix), but can be good in a little wear on a belt, or even in a store Raddress in one of the three back pockets.
