HDR images have become quite popular in recent years. As a photographer of the "old school" I like the look but had only limited effect too much and too little content. To compensate for high contrast, but I use masks and layer technique in Photoshop for some time. Also a plugin called by Fred Miranda DRI served me well. With software such as Photomatix but I'm never coped so well. Since I from my last trip through Romania but had some architectural shots, which only about masking / HDR to considerable results, I again addressed the issue. The HDR feature in Photoshop CS5 I still find unsatisfactory. Nik Efex per HDR is on the results of her very well: from natural to ".. artistic, anything is possible only on my own 3.0 GHz Quad processor, this program runs slowly miserable In the search for a solution, I am on the software" Photo Engine "Oloneo encountered. Although still in beta (and therefore still free) I am running the software under Windows 7 64 bit stable. And of course the very fast with excellent results.
Sometimes, fortunately enough to look for a different software solution and not according to a new computer.
