News, August 2007 Ah, the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer. Almost everything in which I am involved, either has gone into summer mode, or has made a break. However, that gives me more flexibility for gigs like weddings and house parties, which typically occur more frequently in summer than at any other time of the year.
Hotter than Ice has gone on an indefinite space. Our drummer builds houses as a profession, and it hurts when a turns up its workers either do not work on a given submerged because of late or not there remains, as long as he is to remain for a given layer. For over a year our bass player to create the same situation. Our drummer is coming to our band practice to rest and have fun, and he finds it stressful to find the same level of unreliability in the samples, as he sees at work. He is right to take a break.
Soul Review Board has slowed for the summer a bit, but does not have gigs on the horizon. Our next gig is at the Rainbow Bistro on 19.10.
have disappeared since the Sparrows for the summer, the Ottawa branch the Sacred Music Society Adult Choir with a reduced service schedule got into summer mode. However, we have a gig at the town of St. Augustine at 15.8, in which the adult and children's choirs will be involved. It is a special show for the Assumption.
My old school, St. Rita, and quite possibly also the community of Our Lady of Fatima will connect the Sparrows program in September. However, since this is a provincial election year, it is in the air, whether the schools will still have the provincial funding to support the program.
In the end, even though it's a slow summer, I hold on. Stay tuned!
